SMALL SQUEAK

The thing like a novel just topped 50,000 words.

Only a small squeak, but it feels like a milestone. As opposed to a millstone.

Heard your small squeak here in Edinburgh... pretty loud and clear... so must have been something like a roar where you are.

Congrats... every journey begins with a step, and steps walk into miles, and miles slip behind us and we don't notice until we reach a milestone that tells us how far we have come and how much further there is to go.

Keep stepping forward.

Best

Thanks T! For a short story writer, who now keeps unwriting as much as I write... it is amazing!

That is fantastic - does it feel good?! I'm indecently excited at the prospect of a full-length novel from you. Good luck with the next leg of the journey.

No squeak.

It feels... scary. Like I'm starting at 0 all over again.
