It struck me that I ought to explain why I have a pseudonym for my Fish entries.
I set it up in 2004, when I started writing and trying out comps. I used my younger son's Christian names, for luck. It seemed to work now and again! (There... that gives a hint as to which it is.)
It's easy to just carry on using it, for online entries, so I havent bothered changing it.
That's all. No great mysteries!

That's a shame - your choice of pseudonym could have become the basis for a short story ;)
Now there's a thought! Thanks for dropping in, Phil. Interesting stuff you do...good luck with the thesis.

see if you win some money having subbed with a pseudonym, who do they make the cheque payable to? Or do you let them know after they have posted your story as the winner?

Good question. I have let people know who to make the cheque out to ini the past... but there are writers who have a pen name and open bank accounts in that name.
Dougklas Bruton writing as Shirley Flossbucket. See?
