This is a bunch of flowers for the friend who will be travelling to Bridport about now, to attend the prizegiving lunch tomorrow, and to collect the First Prize.
Hearing this wonderful stunning super whizzbang news has lifted my spirits so high I am floating gently somewhere near the ceiling!

I just found out the wonderful news I assume you are talking about... so AMAZING! I am floating too, there is nothing better than a fellow writer's wonderful and well-deserved success. We will be able to reveal all tomorrow, no?
I guess so. We had a long natter on the phone this morning... the lunch is tomorrow, but last year's winner Graham Mort is reading his story tonight at the Bridport Live event, and our colleague (ahem!) wanted to get down there to hear him.
I am sooooo pixillated!
And have to think about another bunch of flowers for another writer friend who is going to the Commonwealth prizegiving as well... did you know that one??!
