Beautiful!! I just love all the colour.

Colour, noise, scents, crowds, sweet tea in glasses, the muezzin wailing from 100 minarets heard from Topkapi hill, buying saffron from Iran, Turkish delight made with honey and pistachios, green tea with roses, black tea with cardamom, a bubble pipe for number two son, ... and very sore feet!

Ha!
no carpets... no thanks to the efforts of the bazzaar carpet men. Thanks, T!

How do they keep the spices in such neat pyramids?!

Kids are kids the world over though, chasing the pigeons.

Really good photos.

And Turkish delight, mmm!

Beautiful pix, Vanessa - you've summed up a city. Clearly you've got a good eye, & this translates into your use of words also. Minnie xx
