University Update

I start in September. At Glamorgan. A stone's throw from 'home'... a little older and wiser, but hey....

Great news! I need a little more detail... did they finally call you?

Congratulations! I look forward to hearing how it goes.

Best of luck with it, Vanessa. It's a unique and very special course, and a beautiful part of Wales. Apart from the sheer joy and education of working with such fantastic poets and short fiction writers, I doubt if The Mathematics of Love would be on quite so many bookshop shelves - if any at all - without it.

Hey, fantastic! You must be so happy that it's all sorted. And now, to add a little more mayhem to your life, I just tagged you on my blog. :)

Hi Emma

I am pleased! Thank you very much for your support at the start of the process, a year back or so now...

I am really looking forward to all that writing time back in my old stamping grounds. And to the guidance I so badly need with structuring my 'novel' (or whatever it is). And the chance to sink into a bit of academic stuff too.

I loved your description (on your blog)of riding over the Beacons after the weekend trips up to Treforest... might just dig out the hard hat!

HI Sarah

I have to keep some sort of process diary, I think... so will use the blog to practice. May as well start with a few bits about my writing processes in the run-up.
